So tonight, Mary decided to leave the apartment to interact with other humans. This is a big deal because we don't this often. This is rare. I declined, and decided to stay in and read, because I'm that cool.
Mary comes home after an hour with like half an ice cream cake from Coldstone. Apparently it was her friend's birthday and told her to take the rest home...? I'm still confused but utterly happy. So we went to town on that thing. But she told me to slow down because they might stop by during the week to eat some more. To which I said "Eff that it's in my house now" (I was partly joking though).
And she replied with "Leave it to the Curtis's to steal someone's birthday cake."
That's all. I just thought it was funny and felt like sharing. But you probably had to be there. Sorry.
Nope, don't have to be there to think this is HILARIOUS. I can just picture the two of you right now with your forks, huddled around the cake. Plus, during the week?? How about maybe the next day but after that, who in their right mind would keep that deliciousness around untouched for that long?
