(Title is Mary's creative contribution to this fine piece of literature)
You know what drives me bonkers???
When people get married, then Facebook update about it 2 seconds later.
Excuse me.

You should probably have a lot on your plate at that moment in time.
I would be so pissed off if I found my husband commenting on his friends' updates while we are for the first time sharing a bed at an oceanview honeymoon suite.
If you are on Facebook, or any other social media outlet for that matter, then that means that you are not taking advantage of ....well you know.
I mean come on! Put the Android down, warm the bath water and light the stinkin candles already!
On behalf of someone who is single, and certainly has your typical if not more amount of raging sexual hormones......
GET OFF FACEBOOK THROUGHOUT YOUR HONEYMOON AND GET SOME.
LOVE this post. Good work team.
ReplyDeleteHilarious! This gives me a mental picture--Get your mind out of the gutter, not that kind of mental picture!--of a couple pulling out their phones in a chapel right after the clergyman announces them husband and wife. Get a life people!

Although this is true, and maybe this is TMI for ya...but its very common to be "sore" after your wedding night! LOL You really don't have as much sex as you would think your 1st wk of marriage b/c your still trying to recover from the first night!
ReplyDeleteMom says...That if you're going to be on your phone, you should be calling your mother instead.
ReplyDelete(She can't figure out how to post comments herself at the moment.)
Yeah, I don't actually assume people are going to be doing it like rabbits the whole, time haha. Really its just the principle of staying unconnected from the world for that short period of time.
ReplyDeleteAnd Amanda...I don't understand Mom's message. First, you should tell her that she already said the exact same thing on my FB...and so I already got the message. And second, it makes no sense.
bbbbaaaaaahhhhhhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDelete(i seriously laughed that hard)
that is so funny!! and sooooooo true!!!
i can't remember if i updated fast... i hope i didn't!!
oh my gosh, i love this. really. after (literally) 2834 of my friends (okay, not so literal) got married this last year, i realized how many people change their relationship status/last name while ON THE HONEYMOON. so bizarre. i know you're excited to tell the technological world you're married, but dangit, enjoy each other for a sec!
ReplyDeleteok....as one of your newest stalkers...so far, I'd have to say that this is my fav. Perfection.
